Dear Mr. Malik:

Please be informed that University of Central Punjab is home to 16,982 students and 602 faculty
members. Even amidst the lockdown period, a large number of students and faculty members are
residing inside the UCP campus.

The matter of concern is that every day at least 3 persons are being Covid positive within the
campus. In this situation, students and instructors living in the campus dormitory are quite
worried. in order to strengthen their immunity against the Coronavirus, they are required to have
immediate access to Covid vaccinations. Moreover, as Punjab government has recently decided to
increase Covid-19 vaccination centers in Lahore, a temporary Covid-19 vaccination center within
the UCP campus would not only comply to the government’s decision, but also ensure free-of-cost
vaccination for the staffs and students residing in the campus.

You are hereby kindly requested to allow us to set up a Covid vaccination center within the UCP
campus for only 1 week to facilitate the students and instructors to get their Covid shots at the
earliest.
