2. COMMUNITY BASED-SERVICES

coordination with different stakeholders. Psycho-social interventions is the main process

3. SECURING SOLO PARENT IDENTIFICATION CARD (ID)
RA 8972 or the Solo Parent’s Welfare Act provides for benefits and privileges to solo
parents and their children. The MSWD primary role is the assessment, registration, and

4. TRAVEL CLEARANCE FOR MINORS
Travel Clearance is issued by the Department of Social Welfare and Development
(DSWD) to lessen the incidence of child abduction. MSWD’s role is to assist the family
of the minor to secure travel clearance.

The MSWDO, in cooperation with the OSCA, National government organization
