TEXT SPEECH

When I was in Elementary School, my teacher told me something about climate. She
told me that Indonesia has a tropical climate. There will be a dry season in April until
October, then the rainy season will come after. But nowadays, it feels like doesn’t fit
anymore. We can’t make sure, when every season will come? It can be a dry season with the
sunlight so blazing, and rainy season with floods are overflow everywhere. How can climate
and seasons be something messy? What’s wrong with our Earth? Climate change is the
answer.
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen
Asssalamualaikum wr wb
Let me introduce myself first. Hi! My name is Muhammad Rizal, and you guys can
call me Rizal. I am the delegation from Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi Vocational High
School. The way I stand here, because I wanna deliver a little speech about Climate Change.
Before I begin my speech, I would like to say thanks a lot to Allah SWT and to all of
the judges that given me time and opportunity to deliver my speech.
So basically, climate change happen because the increase of carbon dioxide and other
gases in the atmosphere. When the coscentration of this carbon dioxide gas increases, it
absorbs the sun’s heat and makes the Earth’s temperature also increases. This global warming
makes the patterns of life and climate on Earth become irreguler. We must realize that
climate change is a real issue. Something that has a real impact on our lives. If we let it
continues happen, it will obviously make the condition of our Earth worse. If we wanna
survive, then why do we keep doing things that destroy our homes?
We can’t deny that ourselves are the cause of this issue. We must realize that climate
change is an important issue and prioritize this issue. Because I’m sure that no one can be
relied on to save our Earth, if not ourselves.
This climate change brings out many bad impacts for our life. Let’s call it “Domino
Impact” which has comprehensive and sustainable impact. For example, Earth’s temperature
is getting hotter due to climate change. This case happen for not a short time and bring
another impact such as, make droughts happen in a lot of places in entire world, forest fires,
and sea level rise also happen. When that all happenned, of course new impact also come out.
Some species decreases and shortage of food stocks. It will make hunger and poverty
phenomenon happen.
See? This climate change actually brings out compex impact for our Earth.
