CONSTRUCTIVISM

Constructivism it is more about the observation and reflection of the students , personal
experiences that through their experiences in the past , prior knowledge and reflection they can
construct an information that they gather based on their experiences . So that students the
individual knowledge, beliefs, and skills through the experience learning they understand the
combination of prior knowledge and new ideas . So that they can easily to construct an
information in the construction of their own learning. In that way in constructivism students
enhanced their knowledge through their past experiences , forming concept and testing in new
situation .The idea of constructivism is how individuals learned. People build their own
knowledge and understanding by engaging in experiential learning and reflecting on that
learning. inquire, investigate, and evaluate what we already know. As we know , people build
their own knowledge and understanding of the world via personal experience and reflection. It
encourages students to think critically, assess their own work, and decide which intermediate
skills they should learn in order to meet their needs. Students have a better understanding of
concepts by controlling their own learning processes. Making links between his or her prior
knowledge, existing schema, and personal experiences while actively building knowledge is
known as constructivism.

In my high school days experiences that I can relate the constructivism . When Ma'am Eden Q.
Torayno our ESP teacher in Langcataon National High School . Give an activity about the
reflection essay in our past experiences on what we have learned . In order to construct a
reflection essay we decided to share our understanding , and feelings through our past
experiences that we can reflect and generate knowledge . Through sharing, understanding and
reflecting our past experiences we easily construct the reflection essay . We combined our
understanding and ideas based on our topic . We learn more and enjoy learning when we are
actively engaged each other in different opinion , on through constructivism this can help me to
develop organizing principles , ideas , and concept , that I can apply it .

Based on the ideas that I have learned in constructivism . I realized that constructivism idea ,
learners create knowledge rather than merely passively absorbing it . As I realized people
construct their own representation of the world as they interact with it and think back on those
interactions . Through constructivism they also incorporate new information into their pre-
existing knowledge schemas . So the students can boost their knowledge through their
experiences on prior knowledge that they can gain an ideas to construct and information .
Through constructivism . It emphasize the value , knowledge , opinions and experiences that
student can gain enough of foundation in knowledge to understand , established, to construct
and to generate and interpret information in the context .
Someday when I'm become a professional teacher in God's perfect plan. I will apply the
technique by using the constructivism . As I observe based in my experiences . This can be a
helpful tool in my classroom especially in my students that my main goal is to internalized it
through the past experience or knowledge that students previously established their feelings ,
experiences and including their old belief that they can construct an information . As a teacher I
will maintained the learning environment it should be organized , clean , and goal orientation .
So that my students comfortably to stay focused to achieve especially in their goals in life .
