A is used when the next word begins with a consonant We use THE:
sound (b, c, d, f, g, h, j, k etc).
when there is only one such thing

2) An "Indefinite Article" for directions

AN is used when the next word begins with a vowel sound the north / the south / the east / the west
(a, e, i, o, u).

Na dzisiejszych zajęciach uczyliśmy się o przysłówkach
częstotliwości.

Adverbs of Frequency

An adverb of frequency tells us how often something takes place.

100% ALWAYS I always brush my teeth in the morning.

90% USUALLY I usually eat lunch at the canteen.

80% NORMALLY / GENERALLY I normally swim after school.

70% OFTEN / FREQUENTLY I often visit my family on Saturdays.

50% SOMETIMES I sometimes watch TV in the evenings.

30% OCCASIONALLY I occasionally wear dresses to parties .

10% SELDOM I seldom eat spinach for dinner.

5% RARELY I rarely listen to the radio.

0% NEVER I never eat chocolate for breakfast.
