Write for the LC code for each Skill: Write the correct compound word to complete the sentence.

The teacher will show some flashcards. The pupils will read it all
together.

3. Comprehension check-up
a. Who is Arnel?
b. What is the work of the baker?
c. What does Jonas pack?
d. When did the story happen?
e. If you were a baker what bread would you prefer to bake?
4. Ask them to pick out the different compound words from
paragraph mentioned above.
Compound Word – comes from two different words that have been
put together to form a new word with a new meaning.
E. Discussing new concepts and Point out the compound words from the sentences found on the
practicing new skills #2 projector screen.
F. Developing Mastery a. The pupils will play a game called “cabbage peeling”.
b. The teacher will explain the directions of the activity.
Activity proper
While playing a song, the cabbage will be passed from one person to
another, when the song stops, the pupil holding the it will peel the
cabbage. The cabbage consists of clues and questions about
compound words.
