A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FAMOUS PERSON

Aim in relation to the syllabus: to ask for and give basic information about people’s

academic and professional lives

Language functions: Asking for and giving information

Grammatical forms: Simple present, frequency adverbs, the hour, action verbs, possessive

adjectives, jobs, days of the week, months of the year, seasons, and the vocabulary seen in the course

so far.

Deadline: Friday, March 25th 2022 by 10pm.

OPTION 1: INTERVIEWING A FAMOUS PERSON

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTERVIEWS

Below you will find the instructions regarding the task, read each session carefully.

Work with a classmate.

 Select a famous person from any country around the world.

 Look for information on the web about the famous person selected such as personal,

professional information, and daily routine.

 One of you will play the role of the interviewer and the other student will play the role of the

famous person.

 Design a short questionnaire in which you ask for his/her full name, profession, daily routine,

etc.

 Introduce yourselves playing the role selected.

E.g:

Interviewer: Good afternoon, today we are here with Chris Evans. Chris, it is a pleasure to

have you here! First of all, what is your full name?

Chris Evans: Hi, Hellen, the pleasure is mine! Well, my full name is Christopher Robert Evans

Interviewer: How old are you?

Chris Evans: I am 40 years old

What is your profession?


Chris Evans: I am an actor and also an artistic director at the Concord Youth Theatre.

Interviewer: What do you normally do in a typical day?

Chris Evans: My day begins very early in the morning, I get up at 4am, I take a cold shower,

then I go to the set to work, at about 8am I have breakfast, I sometimes have fruit, then I …..

Your videos must last maximum 2 min.

 Use vocabulary related to daily activities.

 Have in mind being precise and concise while recording your video.

 Show your face all the time during the video.

 Try to be as creative as possible, add effects, do something funny as well while making the

video to add a bit of interest and amusement to it.

 Post your video on your Schoology.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE TIKTOKS
Below you will find the instructions regarding the task, read each section carefully. Do not forget to

watch and listen to the video tutorials before doing the task:

 Choose a famous person from any country around the world.

 Look for information on the web about the famous person selected such as personal,

professional information, and daily routine.

 Imagine you are the famous person and introduce yourself e.g. “Hi! I’m Shakira and this a day in

my life, first I want to tell you that I am 43 years old and I am a famous singer worldwide. And

this is my daily routine: My day starts at 5 o’clock in the morning. I drink a hot cup of coffee and

then I write some music in my studio. After that I have a shower at about 7am, then I have

breakfast with my kids and my husband. I always drive my kids to school, and on the way home

I sometimes stop to buy some food at the supermarket….

 Consider that TikTok videos are only 15 seconds but you can edit them to last 1 minute. So,

your video must be only 1 minute.

 Use vocabulary related to daily activities.

 Have in mind being precise and concise while recording your TikTok video. Therefore, take your

time to edit it.
