STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My name is Vipul Dnyaneswar Rathod and my date of birth is 13/06/1999. I am a resident of


MAHARASHTRA , India. I am looking forward to pursue Master of Financial Management from Australia.

My father Dnyaneswar Rathod was working as government contractor in Public Works Department
(PWD), He passed away in 2011. My mother is a Anita Dnyaneshwar Rathod is an homemaker , I have
two elder siblings , eldest one name is Akash Dnyaneshwar Rathod , he is working with Public Works
Department taking responsibility of building and maintaining of government agencies , such as public
government construction and also supply building material. He is married and my sister in law Neha Akash
Rathod is Advocate by profession. Second sibling Abhijeet Dnyaneshwar Rathod runs his own construction
business by name Rathod Infracon.

Talking about my education background, I completed my SSC and HSC from Maharashtra State Board with
73.40% in year 2015 and 54% in 2017 , respectively . Since we have our family business, I was always fascinated in
the Management and Business field, and thus decided to study Bachelor of Business Administration in my
undergraduate , and successfully completed Bachelor of Business Administration from Sant Gadgebaba Amravati
University in year 2021 with 80%. I have also given MBA entrance exam in which I got 96.22 percentile in 2022

After completion of bachelors i worked with ASHTAVINAYAK CONSTRUCTION as Intern Accountant for the
period 10th November 2021 to 28 th February 2022 . Post that, I got another opportunity to do internship
with Aniket Anil Karpe and worked there for 5 months from 14 th March 2022 to 20th August 2022. During
my internship I got to know how company works in certain manner, I also experienced how teamwork
helps to complete project on time. I have handled and managed various projects and periodically client
reports to compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Inspected account books and accounting systems for
efficiency, effectiveness and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions. Analyzed
business operations and trends to project future revenues and expenses. All these has given me great
opportunity to learn accounting , finance , it has also enhanced my effective communication, leadership
skills and knowledge .

After having my undergraduate academic and professional experience, now I am looking to pursue master
degree with international exposure with multicultural society  to enhance my personal and professional
career growth . I always had an interest in Finance and wanted to do my career in similar field. The Master
of Financial Management will allow me to improve my career prospects by enhancing my professional and
personal skills and knowledge in Financial Management related areas. It will empower me to flourish in an
international business profession. Additionally, I will have access to prominent professors with vast
industrial and research expertise. Finance is one of the important component that has contributed
significantly to leading businesses towards more success. With all my professional and academic
experience, I  realised how global knowledge and a world-class master’s program will make a difference in
my professional pursuits. After carefully analyzing the difference in the teaching methodologies between
Indian and foreign institutions, I decided for pursuing my master from abroad.

To understand various carrier options, I started doing my research and attended education fair and event
and concluded to do my higher education in Finance. Subsequently, I interacted various countries
Universities representatives and gather the information of each countries education system , career
opportunities after completion of program internationally . With all the information I got inclination to do
my further education from Australia.

Australia education system are more intensive than many other countries, Quality of Australian education
is known to all and I am no exception without compromising on quality. Education system is very well
regulated by Australian government to maintain high standards of education; something which Australia is
famous for. Graduates are known to be confident and have the skills demanded by their employers. The
teaching system in Australia aims to deliver realistic and career oriented skills to students. Australia
universities is globally recognized which offer a wide variety of courses with up to date curricula and
infrastructure. Australia’s standard of living is amongst the highest in the world. Living expenses and tuition
costs are considerably lower in Australia than they are in United States and United Kingdom. International
students are able to work part time while they study, allowing them to offset their living costs.

My chosen courseMaster of Financial Management at University of Wollongong,which is of two years and


the annual tuition fees is AUD$ 48,096 . I am also aware of the living expense which is AUD $ 21041. As
my family is always been a keystone in my career path , they would be sponsoring my education fully . My
mother AUD $……………has liquid funds of AUD$ …………, my Chandra Prakash Jaiswal has liquid funds of
AUD $ 400061 and brother Ayush Jaiswal has liquid funds of AUD $ 23254. We stay in 1 BHK flat which is in
the name of my father. It has an area of 555 SQ. FT. Approximate of value of property is Rs. ………………. The
property is situated in ………….

An Master of Financial Management will open doors for exciting opportunities for me with several MNCs
coming to India, I would like to work for top finance firms in India that acknowledge my talent and
recompense me in accordance with them. On account of its healthy banking and financial service
industries, India is currently one of the world’s most robust economies. In the next quarters, there may be
a number of joint venture agreements between global insurance giants and regional competitors, it is
certain that they will be hiring competent financial managers in the future, and so there is a vast scope for
me in my home country India. With suitable knowledge and practical experience, I can transform into an
successful entrepreneur. After my master’s degree, I will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to
build a rewarding professional career in finance, prior to taking up my entrepreneurship dreams to the
next level. By 2028, India is projected to be the fourth largest private wealth market worldwide. Bajaj
Finance, Tata Capital Financial Services Limited, Aditya Birla Finance Ltd. and HDB Financial Services, etc.,
for the position of Financial Analyst or Risk Advisor, with an annual salary of 15-20 Lakhs, are the
companies that I would most want to join. These organizations offer the most enticing and advantageous
working conditions to their workers. After acquiring valuable experience from one of these firms, I intend
to join my family’s business and eventually extend it to other towns and states in India.

I will be applying for student visa subclass 500 and follow the below mentioned visa conditions in
Australia:
8105 – I cannot work more than 40 hours per fortnight when my course is in
session.
8202 – I must remain enrolled in my registered course; I must maintain
enrolment in my registered course of same level (master’s degree)
and I must maintain a satisfactory attendance in my course.
8501 – I must maintain my OSHC.
8516 – I should maintain sufficient financial capacity for my duration of visa.
8533 – I must inform my education provider of my address within 7 days after reaching Australia and
also my updated address if I change my address in Australia.

I and my immediate family have never applied nor have any visa rejection from any other countries .

I thank University of Wollongong for considering me for the Master of Financial Management and I am
eagerly looking forward to commencing my studies in Australia and make the most of this opportunity.
