UPDATE in blue

############################################################
############################
Support case:
IR13077916

Subject:
Failed to load Viewer

Status:
Open

Use case:
When Active Workspace Client has been started you can use the F5 button, but when AW
interface has not been used for some time, hitting F5 will respond with “Failed
to load
viewer”.

Work Around:
Anis has requested users not to use F5 button anymore (Note: F5 will never refresh the
information from database)

Action:
Konrad asked Anis to enable full debug logging and reproduce the described use case
Anis/Hicham will discuss this on Monday next week. Capture info requested by
Konrad

Question:
Are users not using the F5 button anymore?
How often does the issue still occur? Are we getting less emails from users?
Improvement?
Did we run into a different Use Case to get the “Failed to Load Viewer?
Automate know workaround? Create e.g. a scheduled task (approx. 22:00h) to
stop services, kill processes not correctly closed, start services. (this will prevent
users running into the issue at startup in the morning)

Use case:

started (PROCESS_MAX=1000)

Action:
IR has been reopened?
Checked today, IR is Closed
Anis/Hicham will discuss this on Monday next week. Capture info about user
actions when beyond 100 processes.

Question:
Have you been able to capture “new” information to share with GTAC?
What is currently defined in the pool configuration (PROD env)?
Are users not using the X in upper right of window anymore?
How often does this issue still occur? Are we getting less emails from users?
Improvement?
Is closing the AW client window by using the Windows X (upper right of window)
the only know Use Case?

Use case:
Stopping services VisPoolManager (vispool and visassign) will report EventID 4098 in Event
Viewer

Work Around:
n/a

Action:
GTAC requested to check OS access on install directory (for services account)
OS ownership has been set to services account (lu11scvsirius)
Existing services deleted, new services has been created
Check on Event Viewer when stopping services => still getting Error 4098
IR call has been updated in Siemens Support Center

Question:
I have requested Konrad to transfer the call into a PR

Support case:
IR10462134
Subject:
AW indexer to be created as Windows Services

Status:
IR created, transferred into ER
Closed at Support Center

Use case:
AW indexing is now running in command prompts, when logging off from Indexing server,
command prompts will be closed and indexing will stop

Work Around:

working correctly
When OK, implement the Scheduled Task and powershell script in PROD

Question:
