Method

The design of the research is developmental in nature. Researchers opt to use Likert scale

to gather data from selected Electronics Engineering professors and students of Holy Angel

University. A qualitative data is descriptive and is often expressed in terms of feelings rather than

numerical values. It refers to the words or labels used to describe certain characteristics or traits.

Research Design

The purpose of this design is to develop an inventory management system with digital

requisition slip which utilize RFID technology if the use of RFID is more beneficial for the

professors and students of ECE when it comes to inventory management and the use of digital

requisition slips rather than manually filling it up since it consumes (1) Users, (2) Front End, (3)

Web Server, (4) File System, and (5) Data Base.

There are five important components involve in the Web Application Architecture: The Student

and the Lab Operators are the Users. The Front end is what the Users see, after logging in the

students will only have access in filling out the online requisition slip but the Lab Operators can

view the entire website, including the history, the inventory, and the equipment's availability. The

Web Server, which is part of the back-end component or the server-side component, manages the

entire application's operations while handling the business logic and processing user requests by

sending them to the appropriate component. It is capable of managing and managing requests

from a range of clients. A File System specifies the naming, storing, and retrieval of files from a

storage device. When you open a file on your computer or mobile device, your operating system

loads it from the storage device using its internal file system. The same is true when you copy,

edit, or delete a file; the file system handles it behind the scenes. A file system is also involved

whenever you view a website or download a file over the Internet. The data needed by the program is

provided by the Database Server. It manages tasks involving data. Database servers can manage

business logic with the use of stored procedures in a multi-tiered design.

Data

The researchers will begin the first phase of this study by digitally distributing survey

forms to the selected sample of ECE students and professors. The result of this survey

questionnaire will help the researchers to prove if their chosen research topic will be beneficial

or not. The survey questionnaire will also help the researchers in terms of the suggestions and

feedback that they will receive from the respondents so that they will know the things and areas

that is needed to be taken into consideration. The first phase of this study is creating the entire

system, from programming the RFID and making sure that the tag and the reader can

communicate well and exchange data with each other, developing a web-based requisition slip

that the students can fill up beforehand so that they can manage their time well during scheduled

laboratory hours, and creating a database where all of the data and information will be stored and

can be monitored by the ECE laboratory personnel and property personnel of Holy Angel

University.

Instruments

The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has evolved into one of the most effective

tools for analyzing technology acceptance in education (Huang et al. 2007). This study is

conceived on its research objectives and a review of the literature. It is primarily based on TAM

because it examines the relationships between the three external variables of system quality,

information quality, and service quality, as well as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use,

attitude toward using, and behavioral intention. Following the completion of the application, the

researchers will also distribute a survey questionnaire to gather opinions, suggestions, and

feedback from the chosen respondents. It consists of questions about how convenient they think

this RFID system is. The questionnaire will be evaluated using a Likert scale, which is the most

common method of response scaling. A set of questionnaires will be created for the respondents

to rate. Each respondent will rate each item on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 – strongly disagree, 2 -

disagree, 3 - neither agree nor disagree, 4 - agree, and 5 - strongly agree.

Data Analysis

Ethical Consideration

Research is a lengthy process that must be followed and completed with proper conduct

and ethics. Ethics, according to Cristobal and De La Cruz-Cristobal (2017), is extremely

important when conducting research. There are ethical codes in place to produce a study that

considers and adheres to a standard.

Integrity

What has been agreed upon between the researchers and the respondents will be

followed. Everything involving the respondents will be done with their permission. Responsible

mentoring entails the researchers doing their best to inform and educate people (Cristobal & De

La Cruz-Cristobal, 2017).

Objectivity

The researchers' biases and opinions are prohibited. As it should be, the study should be

objective and factual. The researchers' personal experiences and opinions will have no bearing on

their research (Cristobal & De La Cruz-Cristobal, 2017).

Openness

The researchers will respect the opinions expressed to them regarding the main issue of

their research. To achieve the standard of high-quality research, the researchers will also be open

to criticism (Cristobal & De La Cruz-Cristobal, 2017).

Respect for Intellectual Property Rights

Everything obtained from related literatures and studies will be properly credited. To

avoid plagiarism, the researchers will use proper citation, and references will be provided at the

end. There will be no ownership of other people's works (Cristobal & De La Cruz-Cristobal,

2017).
