ABSTRACT

Development of this toolbox stand is used for storing workshop tool or a

light tool like screw driver and hammer. This stand helps to held tool box in a position .It is

used in workshop and lathe where tools are stored.

Whole of this project is particular involves the toolbox stand.Diplomafinal

year project will allocate the one semester to complete a project. This project also

required the

adequate student to finish a task given.

INTRODUCTION

Toolbox stand is a very important -thing to hold tool box and tools. In
order to make the toolbox stand, the project will design and analyze a toolboxstand model
in marketthat can be used for make a new concept of toolbox.

The stand must be easy to carry anywhere and store more tools. We
can found lots of tool box that available in workshop or home but usually this toolbox are
fixed.

This project is to fabricate the stand that can store hold box easily
with low cost. The structure of sand must be high strength and light. Its designis quite simple

6
MATERIALS

Steel square PIPE is the material used for making and construction of the
toolbox stand. raw steel is converted into a more workable form. Next, the pipe is formed on
a continuous or semicontinuous production line. Finally, the pipe is cut and modified to meet
the customer's needs.
SS(Stainless Steel), MS(Mild Steel) & GI(Galvanised Iron) Works. MS
Pipes: Made from mild steel they can easily be welded and formed in various shapes and
sizes for pipelining and tubing purposes.
What is the process of making pipes?
Pipes are first and foremost produced through an extrusion process.
The raw material is feeded into the extruder via a hopper and a gravimetric or volumetric
control system. Inside the extruder barrel the material is heated up to the melting point
around 200°C by electricity and the friction in the screw system.

7
DIMENSIONS

We need about 11 pieces of steel pipe to make the tool

box stand. The dimensions are given below

 27cm long : 4 pieces

 38cm long : 3pieces

 80cm long : 4 pieces

8
CONSTRUCTION

 First of all, take enough steel pipe for this project.

 Mark the proper dimensions in the pipe.

 Cut the pipe in marked dimensions.

 Joint the pipe pieces in proper way that it looks like a stand.

 joint the pipes using welding machine

 clear the slag ang chips from the welded area

 Then paint it using enamel paint

 Keep it for dry

ADVANTAGES

 Organize

People who are taking a greater number of tools in their vehicle

garage must organize the tools in a proper way. In case, if they are kept messy,
the users will have great difficulty in choosing the tool which they are in need of.
Hence, they can use the tool boxes with stand to organize all their tools in a
proper way. Thus, they can easily pick the one attimes of need.

 Prevent damages

While carrying the tools from one place to other, the chances of
getting damage will be higher. In order to avoid this damage and to maintain the
quality of the tools at its best, one can make use of the tool box stand. The
stand are available in many differentsizes and hence one can choose the one
which can accommodate all their toolbox without any constraint. Thus, by using
these boxes, the durability of the tool can also be increased to agreater extent.

 Reliability

In order to carry the tools from one place to other, one can
make use thetool box. Since they are very compact in size, they will accommodate
very small space. Hence, they can be stored easily in cars, lorry or in any other
vehicle. Since they are handy, the users will not have any kind of difficulties in
using them. They can take this box anywhere in order to fix the repair without
any constraint. Since these boxes will not require any special maintenance,
they are quite reliable to handle.

CONCLUSIONS

The tool box stand is widely used around the globe to store or
tokeep our toolbox properly and aligned without making damages to our tools.
The tool box is set into a stand that is properly welded to therequired size of
the toolbox.

The toolbox stand is kept in the workshop with proper toolbox

kept in it beside the machines. It is well designed for the keeping tools andthe
stand is also made with proper dimension to keep the tool box upfor picking the
tools easily
