2. Research: What is LinkedIn? and What benefits can it provide you?


LinkedIn is a professional networking website that connects people. It benefits you by
allowing you to show employers your capabilities, qualifications, strengths,
weaknesses and so on. This is beneficial for me because I may use it to find the job I love or to
hire someone for a job I need doing.
3. Analyze: How does LinkedIn measure its success? What could the company's KPIs
be and determine its possible relationship with the cultural and change factors of an
organization?
I think LinkedIn measures its success by the amount of connections the company creates in
a given quarter. One of its KPI’s for example might be: Connect 500 people to jobs in
Queretaro. I think that this has a relation with the cultural factors of the company, because
LinkedIn, even if it’s based in California, makes connections all over the world.
4. Analyze using its page and any additional means, information related to:

a. How do you define talent? What are your talent attraction and retention
processes?
Talent is things you are skilled to do. Talent may also be referred to as individuals in
management like in this case. In my opinion, the best way to attract talent is to have a good
business culture in your organization. For the talent to stay, you must
incentivize them and show them there is a way up in the organization so that they strive
for it and have a goal in mind.
b. What motivation and decision-making programs do you use?
My motivation is being the best at what I do and never trying to do anything mediocre. This
makes my decision making sharp. I will never say or show anything that I’m not personally
proud of.
c. How do you carry out your continuous search for talent?
I ask people what they’re good at and if they’re willing to do things for me.
d. What techniques do you use and recommend to avoid talent drain?
I think that to avoid talent drain, good communication inside the organization is needed.
Studies show that people work better when they feel part of a bigger thing, when they feel
as if they’re contributing, they can use all of their effort and make the best job possible to
avoid draining their talent.
