HOTEL CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

FO: Good morning, ma’am. Welcome to Cruise hotel. How may I help you?
G: Yes, I’d like to check-in, please.
FO: Certainly, ma’am, do you have any reservation?
G: Yes, its under the name of Krz loay dela cruz. A queen-sized bed for 3 days and 2 nights stay.
FO: Do you have your booking confirmation, ma’am?
G: Yes, here it is.
FO: Alright, it will be just one moment. May I request for any identification card, please?
G: Sure. Here’s my driver’s license.
FO: thank you very much. Thank you for patiently waiting, this is your identification card. Upon
checking in our system, there is a confirmed booking under the name Ms. Krz loay dela cruz for
a 3 days and 2 nights stay. And the reservation is for Mr. and Mrs. Dela cruz, in a deluxe non-
smoking room with the view of the Taal lake. Your bills will be settled via VISA card amounting
to PHP 12, 810 making it as PHP 6, 405 room per night. Are these information correct Ms. Dela
cruz?
G: Yes, that’s all correct.
FO: Alright, may we just borrow your card please.

G: okay, thank you. What’s included in the cost anyway?
FO: A continental meal plan every morning between 8 am to 10 am, an airport shittle service,
and the use of all the hotel safe are all included.
G: So, what’s not included in the price?
FO: Well, as for your room, Ms. Dela cruz. You will see a mini bar and the use of it will be
charge to your personal account. As well as, the hotel provided room services at an additional
charge, of course.
G: So, what about the wireless internet?
FO: Oh, that’s pretty easy. This is your access code and the instructions on how to use it. As well
as, this is the list of all the hotel amenities like the pool and the gym.
G: Okay, thank you.
FO: Alright ma’am, this is your card.

FO: And I’ve got you all check-in to your room. This is your key card

FO: Just take the elevator up to the 6th floor. And when you get off from the elevator, just turn
right. Your room is located at the end of the corridor on the left-hand side. Do you need any
assistance to your luggage, ma’am?
G: Yes, that would be a great help.
FO: Okay, ma’am. Just leave your luggage here and Ms. Leslie will assist you to your room.
G: Oh! And what time is the check out?
FO: At mid-day ma’am/sir.
G: Okay thanks.
FO: My pleasure, mam/sir. Enjoy your moment at Cruise hotel.
BELLBOY (BB): Welcome to Cruise hotel Mam, have you any luggage with you?
G: Yes, I have.
BB: May I check your luggage?
G: Yes, sure.
BB: Well, your luggage is one piece of travel bag, is that correct smam?
G: Yes, correct.
BB: Alright mam, follow me please? Are you ready to go to your room?
G: Yes, sure.

G: Yes, sure.
BB: Alright. Well, we start from the wardrobe. Well sir/mam, this your wardrobe. You can hang
your clothes with the hangers and this your laundry bag. You can put your dry clothes in here
and put it in from of the room and our housekeepers will collect it at 10 pm. And this is your
deposit box. That’s all about your wardrobe.

BB: Well mam, this is your telephone. If you have any problem, you can dial 0 for the telephone
operator, dial 2 for laundry service, and dial 4 for housekeeping and food and beverage service.
That’s all about your room. Anything else sir?
G: No, thanks.

FO: Good morning, mam. Welcome to Cruise hotel. How may I help you?
G: Uhmm, we’re checking out of room 308.
FO: Certainly, ma’am. Just for a moment. Good morning, room 308 for check-out please, thank
you. So, im just printing out your bill, ma’am. By the way, how was your stay?
G: Oh, everything was perfect. The taal view is amazing. I enjoyed the sunset along with it. And
the champagne in our room is perfect too.
FO: That’s very good to hear mam. Here is your bill. Your room is already paid upon check-in
and these are your remaining incidentals upon availing our room services, restaurant and mini
bar. Kindly check your guest folio before we proceed to any check-out process.
G: Everything in this folio is correct.
FO: Alright, mam. How would you like to settle your account, please?
G: Ah, via VISA Card.
FO: May we just borrow your card, mam/sir?
G: Here it is
FO: Thank you very much. Here is your card.
G: Thank you.
FO: And may we just ask for your signature here, mam?

G: Yes, I have.

G: Yes, I will be needing a taxi assistance. My flight leaves within 3 hours. Do you think it
would get there on time?
FO: Of course, mam. The next shuttle service will arrive by around 30 minutes. And it only takes
an hour and half to get to the airport.

FO: Of course, mam. Here is the prestige club membership. It entitles you 15% discount on your
total food bill, 15% discount on laundry for in-house guests, and 10% discount on beverages
orders year-round. It also gives you walves corkage fee for bottles for banquet events. Lastly, it
provides a very special room rates exclusively for members that can e availed for a one full year.
So it’s just a total of PHP 6,500, mam.
