Course Description:

This course deals with sports and games which can be played and enjoyed through life. It focuses on the fundamental skills and values of individual and dual sports and games. Students are
made aware of the safety precautions in the conduct of these sports and games. They are also encourage to actively participate in any intramural, extramural and other sports activities in
school and in their respective localities as an application of the knowledge and skills learned in their PE class.

General objectives

1. To provide the students with basic knowledge and skills in lifetime sports and games as venue for the following:
a. Maintaining physical fitness
b. Means for recreation
c. Antidote to stress and
2. To enhance the skills through actual games in class and participation in tournaments in other venues
3. To acquire desirable social and emotional traits in the process of learning and playing the games
