Word Picture Cards (words ending in -og)

Purpose: for retaining knowledge on words ending in -og, may be used also in forming words
ending in -og.
Domain: Alphabet Knowledge, Word Reading
Materials (yarn /string, board paper, digital picture of words that end in -og, colored paper)

Activity /Procedures
1. Print digital pictures of words ending in -og on a crosswise sized A4 board paper ( 2
pictures per board paper).
2. Indicate the word (Bigger Font) with definition at the bottom part.
3. Identified Words ending in -og will be attached to a yarn or string as it appears like a
ladder.
4. Words ending in -og will be covered with a strip of paper. Learners will identify if the
picture being referred to ends with -og. If the learner think or believe it ends on such (-
og), the learner will attach a green strip of paper using a paper clip at the side of the
picture. If it is not, a red strip of paper shall be used.
5. These can be done individually or collaboratively through a group representative.

ending in -ot.

Materials (board paper, digital picture of words that end in -ot , colored paper, paper clips,
scissor)

Activity /Procedures
1. Print digital pictures of words ending in -ot on an A4 sized board paper (1 picture per
board paper).
2. Indicate the word (Bigger Font) with definition at the bottom part. Picture clues included.
3. The picture is divided into three parts (word name, picture clues, and definition).
4. The learners will match the missing parts of the picture on a separate-colored paper (such
as word name, picture clues, and its meaning).
5. After the picture is completed, the learner will describe the word by presenting it in a
sentence.
6. These can be done individually or collaboratively.
