1.State in your own words the VMGO and Quality Policy of Bicol University and relate it
to your personal goals, and their local and global community.

The most essential thing for each individual is to have a sense of morality especially as
an Architecture student, that is why we are trained to always plan ahead and see the Bigger
Picture not just in creating a comfortable environment for people but it is also essential in life.

Our University Vision and Mission helps us to see the sense of direction as we move
towards our big goal. Written statements that aid in aligning us to become a great Architects and
in order to achieve a successful future.

Architects works with people, therefor as a aspiring architects we should be innovative

and efficient so that can provide solutions. We are a change agent in our own ways because we
develop the quality of life and transforms the society for the betterment of their future.

As Frank Gehry said, “Life is chaotic. Buildings should Reflect it.”. Meaning in other to
create a meaningful transformation, you must go against all stereotypes and norms. Instead we
should all strive for excellence and go accordance with our own vision.

2.Share A quote that gives you motivation and provide at least 2 sentences on how it

inspires/ motivates you as you move forward of finishing the course/ subject.

My favorite Quote is from one of my favorite Sitcoms called “how I met your mother”.
"Legen...wait for it...dary" is the catchphrase of a character from the TV show "How I Met Your
Mother".

The character barney would declare that something he was planning would be "legendary", or
so spectacular that it would be talked about for a long time afterwards, but he would always
phrase it, "it's going to be legen...wait for it...dary”.

It can be a simple catchphrase or it can even have deeper meaning. But for me I’d like to
think about it as a motivational catchphrase, because I, myself is a work in progress that
sometimes gets so unmotivated and felt like giving up especially countless of times with my
course BS Architecture. It is definitely challenging mentally and physically but I know that I
needed to go through that phase and even might go through it again, who know? All I know is
every challenge that I overcome will make me a better person, I just have to be patient and wait
for it.
