The proponents of the business are the 10 members of the group that can be
considered as student entrepreneurs. Each of them has different roles that were divided
based on their capabilities and skills. The proponents believe that dividing them and
giving them the work, related on their skills can make the business more successful,
because in order to bring a business into a success we, the student entrepreneurs should
have passion in everything we do.
The resource mobilizer and financial backers would be the investors who are willing
to invest in the business. The ten members can act as resource mobilizer and financial
backers because they will be the one who will share money for the capital of the business.
Some of the members will be given the task of being a Technology providers and
applicators. They will be the one who will think of technologies that the business needed.
They will also analyze if their budget is enough to make use of technologies and if there
is sufficient fund that they can use to pay for it. Technologies are very important especially
when it comes to disseminating information about the product.
For the governance and top management, basically the group leader can handle it
since it is about managing. The leader will lead the members so that they will follow. But
it doesn’t mean that the other members can’t participate because as a part of the
business, the suggestion and approval of every person is important. In that way, they
can formulate different ideas and concept that will improve the business.
The last one is the Operating and support team which include all the members
because they will be the one who will make the main product which is the Happy Totes.
Others can work for the implementation of the business. There are also members who
will be assigning in the advertisement of the business and of course the one who have

GIVEN:
30 pcs 159 PESOS EACH PIECE
Formula:
GROSS SALE= Amount of product per pc. (×) number of pcs.
COST OF GOOD SOLD= Total Purchases
GROSS PROFIT= GS-COGS
OPERATING EXPENSES= Total Operating Expenses
OPERATING PROFIT= GP-TOEs
The price of the tote bags per piece got by dividing our capital into the number of
pieces (bags) being made and by multiplying its quotient into 15% and adding its product
into the quotient of the capital. Gross sale can be get by multiplying the marked-up price
of the product into the number of pieces. The cost of goods sold is the total purchases
of the business during the transaction and then when the cost of goods sold is subtracted
by the gross sale the difference will now be the gross profit. The operating expenses is
the remaining cost of expenses, that are not included in the COGS like the shipment fees
of our ordered blank tote bags and other expenses needed. To calculate and find the
operating profit, subtract the amount total operating expenses from the gross profit.
Happy Totes is projecting ₱ 4,770.00 monthly gross sale and ₱ 884.00 monthly
gross profit which is the 20.63% of monthly gross sale and a projected monthly net profit
of ₱ 624.00, a 70.59% of gross profit.
