This quote simply means that we shouldn’t have to pretend always that everything is okay when it isn’t.
Well for me, there’s nothing inherently wrong with positivity. In fact, it can be a force for good that
helps motivate you for the future. But positivity can also become harmful when it’s insincere, forceful,
or delegitimizes real feelings of anxiety, fear, sadness, or hardship. Just like anything done in excess,
when positivity is used to cover up or silence the human experience, it becomes toxic. By disallowing the
existence of certain feelings, we fall into a state of denial and repressed emotions. The truth is, humans
are flawed. We get jealous, angry, resentful, and greedy. Sometimes life can just flat out suck. By
pretending that we are “positive vibes all day,” we deny the validity of a genuine human experience.

This quote basically indicates that we shouldn't have to act as if everything is okay all of the time.
Positive thinking, in my opinion, has no inherent flaws. In fact, it can be a positive factor that helps you
stay motivated in the future. However, it can be damaging when positivity is forced or delegitimizes
genuine sentiments of anxiety, dread, sadness, or struggle. When optimism is used to hide or cover up
the human experience, it becomes toxic, just like anything overdone. When we deny the presence of
particular feelings, we fall into a state of denial and repressed emotions. Humans are flawed, to be sure.
We become envious, angry, resentful, and greedy. Life can be frustrating at times, and we undermine
the legitimacy of a true human experience by claiming to be "good vibes all day." So, let's attempt
mindfulness by just taking a quiet minute to notice how we're feeling and what's going on in our body
and mind, as well as noticing our bad feelings and acknowledging the information they're giving us
without losing ourselves in them.

give us hope, faith and courage to get through and surpass everything.
