SYNONYM
is a word that has the same or nearly the same, meaning as another
word.

Choosing effective synonyms can make your writing more precise and interesting. Even
synonyms have shades of meaning - you need to pick the most appropriate synonym to fit
the meaning of your sentence.
Look at these synonyms of ‘happy’, which one fit best in these sentences?

Directions: Read this short shory, try to spot any words that are synonyms
