WORK EXPERIENCE
2016 – 2018, During this period I worked as an Intern with the firm of Khaminwa
& Company Advocates Kakamega branch, where I was bestowed upon the whole
package of an advocate including law firm management. I therefore did law cases
research and presented the same to my supervisor for inclusion in matters that
were at the moment coming up, I attended court hearings to learn the art of
advocacy among other advocates responsibilities.

2019- During this period I was contracted as a Content Supervisor by the Kenya
National Bureau of statistics to help in the supervision and ensure accurate use of
the statistical gadgets and results during the 2019 Census.

2020- I was employed as a Security Officer by Kenya Kazi Limited security

company, currently AGardaworld company, where I was entrusted with ensuring
safety of client property and life.

2022- Kenya Kazi Security AGardaworld company sponsored me to attend

aviation security course as well as security screener, where I mastered skills and
knowledge in access control, cargo screening by use of x-ray machine, use of
various kinds of ETD’S as screening methods, baggage handling, baggage
Screening, personnel screening, hand search, mail cargo screening, walk through
machine use, hand held metal detector use. I was thereafter subjected to a
lengthy attachment and KCAA Certification exams, where I passed and got
certified.

2022 - Currently, and to the benefit of practicing and developing the skills
acquired during the aviation security and screener training, I have since the
month of April been working with (federal Express) a cargo airline service
provider operating at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for five days a
week. During these five days we are tasked with cargo and mail screening to
ensure safe international passage of cargo whilst focussing on discovering and
deterring explosives, weapons and all prohibited items from being infiltrated
onto the aircraft.

Subsequently each Thursday from the aforementioned month till now I have
been working with Airkenya Express as a security screener alongside the
Airkenya Express internal Security Screeners, with more focus this time on
baggage, personnel screening with just a little bit of cargo screening. At Airkenya
Express we are tasked with ensuring safety of passengers, its crew and the
aircraft by ensuring that all carry on baggage are free from any items that may in
any way be used whether knowingly or otherwise to cause harm to the
passengers and its crew aboard the aircraft and the aircraft itself, while ensuring
that the check in baggages are as well free from any prohibited items amongst
other routine security responsibilities.
