Accomplishments:
What a beautiful morning, I started my day with a great brew of coffee and
headed to school. Our earth science class began at 7:00 a.m., and Maam
Aragon divided us into four groups and assigned us to create a chart
depicting the attributes of the planet and its system. Following our earth
science subject, our personal development class began at 8:30 a.m., when
our classmates reported on Developmental Stages in Middle and Late
Adolescence and Maam Par assigned us a seatwork. Following that, since Sir
Castro was at a meeting, we began at 11:30 a.m. where We study simplifying
radicals, which I had recited, and solve an equation.
Strengths:
Mental/Physical/Social/Emotional – The many physical, sexual, cognitive,
social, and emotional changes that happen during this time can bring anticipation
and anxiety for both children and their families. Understanding what to expect at
different stages can promote healthy development throughout adolescence and
into early adulthood.
Weakness:
Mental – I feel unprepared for tests for several reasons: I may not have
studied enough, I may find the material difficult, or perhaps I feel tired
because didn't get enough sleep the night before.
Lessons/Need Improvement:
In a world rife with expectations, living authentically can feel impossible. It
feels easier to have your path planned for you. But, in the long run, this will
only hold you back from living a fulfilling life.
The great philosopher Socrates said it himself:
“To know thyself is the beginning of wisdom.”
Accomplishments:
What a busy day! To begin, I couldn't sleep last night due to
my enthusiasm for seeing my brother and other Filipinos play
Frisbee against people from all over the world. Since before
the epidemic, I've wanted to see an improvement in how
Filipinos play Frisbee internationally. We remained at my
brother's teammate's house near the field where they used to
play after the first day of the competition. Because of the
oncoming Tropical Cyclone Noru, there is a restricted internet
connectivity at that residence, so I review Radicals for our
recitation tomorrow.
Strengths:
Social- It is important to surround ourselves with family and friends
for support and comfort in both times of joy and distress.
Weakness:
Physical - I couldn't sleep last night due to my enthusiasm
Lessons/Need Improvement:
There is reason to believe that watching sports engages this
connection: We connect to our teams, to the players on our teams, to
the other fans of our teams. We bask in reflected glory because there
is some actual point of contact, at the neural level, between a team's
performance and our own self-esteem
Strengths:
Emotional/Mental - Regardless of what life throws at you, you are
stronger than you think. You can stand up for yourself and take everything
that life throws at you. You’ll always figure things out even if it seems like
an impossible challenge. As time passes, you’ll learn that you are stronger
than you think and you can face your challenges confidently.
Weakness:
Mental - Stop worrying about the worst-case scenarios.
Lessons/Need Improvement:
The world is full of withered and withering people who are not
connected to their own authenticity, who feel overwhelmed and
discouraged. When we experience turbulent times, as we are now,
these feelings can be magnified. People are stretched to their limits,
losing sight of their innate character strengths—temporarily blind to
their uniqueness. Often, the loud inner critic joins in the game by
suppressing one’s confidence—amplifying fear instead.
Strengths:
Mental - When you are faced with a problem, it’s always important to put
in the time and energy to find a solution. Even if you don’t find the best
solution right away, don’t give up. There will be times when life will throw
you a ball. And you’ll think that things cannot get worse.
Weakness:
Mental - I struggle to feel like I've accomplished "enough," telling
myself, "I wasn't that productive at work today, I should have gotten
more done."
Lessons/Need Improvement:
Sometimes we feel it’s the right time to take action and put our plans in
motion only to realize that we were wrong. It’s important to analyze our
current position and how our activities could influence our future.
Sometimes it’s better to postpone a certain goal or even change it for the
time being. Accepting a promotion in a bad time could get us in more
trouble than good if the time is not right.

Activities / To do:
Attend Classes
1. General Chemistry
2. Entrepreneurship
3. Komunikasyon at Pananaliksik Sa Wika at Kulturang Pilipino
Accomplishments:
This was the day I assisted my students with their reports in General Chemistry
regarding chemical names and formulas. We didn't realize we could get the topic
from Maam Vergara, therefore she described our reporting as anemic despite the
fact that our presentation was inadequate. After our general chemistry reporting,
we had our Entrepreneurship class at 8:30 a.m., and maam Suarez announced the
pointers to review for our midterm exam, as well as we studied Module 4:
Market Identification and its branches, which included marketing position, target,
and segments, as well as its own factors. After that, we had our class in
Komunikasyon at Pananaliksik Sa Wika at Kulturang Pilipino at 10:30 a.m. and
asked if we could borrow time to rehearse for our recording of our song
interpretation later after class, but Maam Nilo refused and said that we needed to
finish the characteristics of the language (Filipino) first. After class, we recorded
our project, which is a song interpretation, and it turned out well.
Strengths:
Social – Volunteering your time, , or energy to help others doesn't just
make the world better—it also makes you better.
Weakness:
Social – My communication abilities have improved, but I believe it is not
enough since I notice that when I talk in class, my hands are getting cold
Lessons/Need Improvement:
You are not the epicenter of the universe. It’s very difficult to view the world
from a perspective outside of your own since we are always so focused on what’s
happening in our own lives. What do I have to do today? What will this mean for
me, for my career, for my life? What do I want? It’s normal to be intensely aware
of everything that’s going on in your own life, but you need to pay as much
attention to what’s happening around you, and how things affect other people in
the world as you do to your own life. It helps to keep things in perspective.

Activities / To do:
Attend Classes
1. Oral Communication
2. General Math
Accomplishments:
Maam Dacanay gives us this time at 8:00 a.m. to answer our module
at the NEUVLE. She assigns us tasks to complete during the
synchronous meeting, as well as an individual task, which is a speech
to be presented at the next meeting. We had our general Math at
11:25 after our meeting in Oral Communication, and we had a short
discussion regarding piecewise operations, as well as we studied
Operations and Function Compositions.
Strengths:
Spiritual/Mental - Life teaches us to prove us wrong by throwing
weird obstacles in your path. You don’t have to live your life strictly
according to plan. The best part about life is there is no plan. You
can spend your days creating plans only to have a random thing
thrown at you. Learn to adapt and go with the flow. Be open-minded
and flexible.
Weakness:
Mental - I have a tendency to forget something or topics that have
been discussed.
Lessons/Need Improvement:
Your comfort zone is your enemy. One of the biggest ironies is that
when you try and stay comfortable, life will send you more and more
discomfort. People are so concerned about staying comfortable rather
than growing, and reaching higher, because people don't want to
address their limitations they keep struggling.
Accomplishments:
Today seemed like the longest day of my life, which I expected. At 6:00
a.m., I got ready to go to my friend's house in Old Balara, near
Commonwealth, to play basketball. I started riding my bike to my friend's
place at 6:30 a.m. At 11:00 a.m., after playing basketball with a friend, we
headed to Sm North Edsa to watch our favorite anime film, One Piece Film
Red. We ate at Sumoniko at 4:00 p.m. after watching the movie. After that,
we went to our respective homes, and as soon as I got home, I began
working on a PowerPoint presentation for our earth science report. As it is
getting late in the evening, I review and familiarize the formulas and
equations about Radical expression for our quiz tomorrow .
Strengths:
Social/Emotional – Friends prevent isolation and loneliness and give
you a chance to offer needed companionship, too. Friends can also: Increase
your sense of belonging and purpose. Boost your happiness and reduce your
stress.
Weakness:
Physical/Mental – After all that happened today, I'm physically and
mentally exhausted because it was such a busy day.
Lessons/Need Improvement:
Life goes by faster than we think. When you’re in your twenties you
think you’ll stay there forever but before you know it you are in your
thirties and it’s too late for the things you wanted to do as a young
person. Live your life to its full extent because life is short and we
never know what tomorrow brings.
