STRUGGLES OF PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS AND STUDENTS

On Monday, the problem that I have mainly encountered was handling the item and
score analysis of Grade 9 - J. Escoda and 8 - Mt. Pulag. Because on that day, I insisted to
help my Cooperating Teacher in counting the students, particularly the Grade 9 - J. Escoda
who got the right answer on each of the item of their First Quarterly Examination in Araling
Panlipunan. Afterwards, one of the teachers in Grade 9 asked me as well if I could handle
the checking and recording of item and score analysis of Grade 8 - Mt. Pulag on their First
Quarterly Examination in Filipino and I realized that it’s really time-consuming and tedious.

While on Tuesday, one of the problems that I have encountered was the distribution
of New Modules on Grade 9 - G. Silang for the Second Quarter. Because on that day, my
Cooperating Teacher was not present, that’s why I handle the collection of old modules and
giving out the new ones, and I never thought that the assemblage could finish immediately
if I tried to set apart the modules by subject. Furthermore, I also struggled on my first day of
teaching because I didn’t know how to connect my Laptop on the Television using HDMI.
That’s why I discussed the lesson using only my laptop but thankfully I delivered it very well.

Lastly on Wednesday, one of the problems that I have mainly encountered was the
uneven or not simultaneous schedule of discussion of all the Grade 9 sections. Because on
that day, I just started the lesson on Grade 9 - G. Silang, while with the other three sections,
they are now on the computation part of the lesson. That’s why it’s really hard and easy for
me at the same time like even though I just repeat the lesson yesterday, my way of delivery
now became more understandable and comfortable. Additionally, I also had a hard time on
teaching the computation part of the lesson because I am not actually good at mathematics.
