To develop competency in communication skills through participation in and

To acquire knowledge of self and others through participation in and reflection on

dramatic experience.

To develop an appreciation for drama and theatre as a process and art form.

-Warm up and Question of the day (stretching).

Major Teaching -Provide students with a proper understanding of the fundamentals of what scenes
& Learning entail i.e. (Location, characters, relationships, activities, conflict, resolution, etc.)
Activities (Weeks 3/4).
-Students will also be provided with fun little challenges to create their scenes from.
-These challenges may include tongue twisters, emotions, a goal, an objective,
personality trait, etc.
-Students will practice both solo, duo, and group scenes during this unit.
-Scene creation will prepare them for the projects they will be doing further into the
course.
