Data gathering procedures

Upon the approval of the research instrument, the researcher will formally write a letter
to the Faculty and staff of College of art and sciences of Wesleyan University-Philippines for the
consent to conduct this study and the request to get the email address of the respondents to
facilitate the research instrument via google forms, respectively.

Due to the pandemic brought by Covid 19, the researcher may not be allowed to go to school and
instead of handling this letter personally we would like to send this via School official Email
address. Once the approval is confirmed, we will start to communicate via online survey
questionnaire and google forms will be use to distribute the instrument. It will be administrated
to third year BS Social work students. Seeing difficulties and risks given by the Covid-19
pandemic, the researcher took into account the respondents' availability and capacity to complete
the questionnaire without compromising their health. The researcher will create a group chat for
the respective respondents, if ever that they would want to clarify some issues and have some
questions to ask. The questionnaire would be ad mistered to 40 respondents and there would be
no interview to be conducted. The researcher assures that all the data that have been gathered
treated with utmost confidentiality for the purpose of the study.

Data analysis
To analyze and interpret the result of the study, we will be using statistical computations.
The researcher used Frequency Distribution and Percentage to study the profile of the
respondents such as Age, Sex, place of residence and Year level. Weighted mean was also used
to know how may impact of virtual learning to the student be described in terms of Grades,
internet connection, learning material, environment and time management.
