BALL

BEARING COMBINATION CHART:

The ball bearing combination can be anything from 2 ball bearings to

66 ball bearings. You could actually install the Power Clutch with no
ball bearings and it would be no different than the stock pressure plate.
So with that in mind the minimum number of balls you could use would be 2
because where ever you install a ball you have to put the same amount of
balls in the exact opposite slot so the clutch stays balanced. Example:
If you put one ball in a groove thats at the 12:00 position you have to
put one ball in a groove that is at the 6:00 position. Obviously, the
more balls you use the more you reduce the clutch from slipping.

Here are some starting combinations:

Stock Banshee with mild up grades pipe, head, reeds, mostly trail riding.
Put one ball bearing in the small grooves only.(18 total)

Banshee with aftermarket cylinders, pipes, big carbs, 4mil crank dune
riding and drag racing. Put 2 balls in small grooves only.(36 total)

Full drag banshee on alcohol with any engine combination under 10 mil
stroker use 2 balls in all the small grooves and 2 balls each in the 6
long grooves.(48 total)

10 mil motors and bigger drag race only on alcohol you can use all 66
balls.

You can experiment with any custom combination you like for what ever
riding style you like. Thats what makes this lock-up clutch unique and
fully adjustable. Just remember to always put equal amount of balls in
the grooves opposite of each other to keep the clutch balanced. If you
run an unbalanced ball combination you can cause severe engine damage.
Always remember to replace a worn clutch pak to maintain optimal
performance from your Power Clutch.

WARNING:

If you have unusually thick steel plates and or friction plates you
must not use them in conjunction with the Power Clutch to fit under the
stock side cover (you could use them if you have a extended side cover).
A standard steel plate is @ .046" thick and a standard friction plate is
@ .119" thick.
Most standard clutch kits follow these standards but there are a few odd
ball kits out there. ALSO DO NOT STACK EXTRA STEEL PLATES WHEN USING THE
STOCK SIDE COVER THERE WILL NOT BE PROPER CLEARANCE. The Power Clutch and
the stock side cover were designed for the standard 7 disc clutch pak. If
you have an eight or nine plate clutch you will need to have an extended
side cover for proper clearance.

The Power Clutch is a hi-performance product and is sold with no implied

warranty.
We are not responsible for any engine damage caused by improper
installation. If you are unsure on how to install the Power Clutch take
your quad to a qualified mechanic.
