December is the month most families spend much more money in because they don’t plan in advance,
they just buy without caring for prices. Sometimes it’s easier and cheaper to buy some previous
months (September and October) and so you’ll be able to choose the best presents as well as the most
useful ones.

Activity 4. Plan to save money by spending previously and detail what will happen by the time
you’re to give presents / travel / invest…

Example:

Occasion: Family Christmas

Expenses: presents and clothes
Plan in advance: I will buy presents and clothes in August
Description: By December I will have bought all my family presents. I will have saved three
hundred thousand pesos. My expenses will have been lower than buying in
December. By December 24th I will have gotten the necessary things to enjoy
Christmas with my family.
