Colombians have faced violent times and circumstances; however, they have overcome.
In terms of sports, they have characterized for being extremely fanatic, and so soccer has become
a distracting element as well as tv realities.

What do you think when you see the map of Colombia? a geographical division?

Situation: Colombia is not only what the media reproduces through tv series, or what
international companies see in terms of investment (profit). Colombia is a country full of
natural resources, kind people, exotic places, delicious coffee, famous gastronomy…

Activity 3. Draw a map with the most positive aspects of the country (or specific departments). Be
sure you’re intending to change the negative perspective foreigners have about our
land.
*Include drawings, key words, mains ideas…

Let’s become the tourist guides in our cities

Activity 4. Design a brochure with which you convince the tourists to visit your city. Include key
information about emblematic and historical places, lifestyles, cultural settings, food,
weather, traditions, and lodging. Add percentages of visits to some of the places
mentioned or plans.
This is just a place of the city to be included. Not the only one.
Example:
Monserrate Hill: visited by 60 % of tourists – wonderful view – varied meals – aerial
tramway, funicular, climbing. (get an extra 20% off on further visits)
