Applicable:
CTB used in Rigid Pavement over the upper sub base of GSB/DL layer, min thickness 100 mm to 200 mm
as per the requirement
Agg. are treated that why impermeability are high & water entrusion are very less as comaperd to WMM. H
Advantage: moisture intrusion throgh the subgrade is nt possible for this

Cement Content
According to MORT&H recommendation, after obtaining the OMC with respect of% of cement, we need
to cast the cubes each of three no of set reqd, & after age of 7days moist curing compressive strength we
will find out. Then muliplyong the comressive strenth * 0.75 to find out the Unconfined compressive
strength (UCS).
Now as per the graphical form & requirement of target UCS say 5.5 N.mm2 we will find out the ce
content from the graph 4.50 %.
Now after obtaining the cement content with respect to the target UCS as per the requirement, we
to prepare the mixture with design cement content (4.50%), OMC (6.30% found earlier) & blend
Agg.After that preaper the moulds as per the modified proctor test & fimnd out the final MDD Vs
graph & for conformity test cast three no of cyliner or cubes to check the the target UCS at age of 7
moist curing condition & MDD/OMC also for the same.
