1. Name of the technology: Keyless Entry Systems Industry: Hotels


Functionality: Keyless entry systems let you lock and unlock a door remotely using a digitally encrypted "key"
that is stored on a watch, tablet, or smartphone via a special hotel software. There is no need for conventional
keys or deactivated or easily lost plastic key cards. In addition, hotels won't have to replace lost keys because
guests won't have to bother asking for the key at the front desk.

Functionality: Hotel rooms may have voice-activated smart hubs that let guests manage the temperature and
lighting of their rooms as well as use entertainment equipment. The names of the visitors can also be offered to
such technologies, personalizing the overall experience. Guests can stay away from regularly touched items
