This tender is for the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Wireed IP
based CCTV Surveillance system for Kakrapar Township Hospital . The scope of the work includes
The tender includes supply of Cameras and associated power supply adapters, Network
switches, and associated components, power cable and their connectivity to the components
such as cameras, switches, servers and other necessary hardware. Suppliers need to quote cost
per meter for the cabling, and the payment of installation shall be on actual as per the site
requirement.
2. Qualification of bidder
The manufacturer shall have a proven technology for the item such as camera, video
management software and equipment. Bidder shall have experience in supply installation,
testing, commissioning and maintenance of CCTV system.
The bidder shall produce a proof of installation of video surveillance system working
elsewhere, along with the quotation and also arrange for a demonstration/ field visit, if called
for, preferably a place nearer to Surat.
Manufacturer's name and make, model number of individual items and their specification.
Applicable standard of all items.
Specification and data sheet of all the constituted equipments.
4. Time schedule
Completion period of work is 3 months after acceptance PO. Party has to submit the detailed time
schedule for execution of the PO.
Each shipment shall be packed such that it is protected from water, dust and moisture in-grace.
All packages should be properly marked for the content of the packages of identification. The entire
system shall be delivered at CMM section, Plant site, Kakrapar Gujarat Site.
6. System Description
7. Technical particulars
Bidders are advise to visit the Kakrapar township with respect to terrain and camera location
for identification of correct design.
Once offer submitted, it is bidders responsibility make system functional with offered design
• The power supply available to the electrical loads of the system is 240V AC ±10%, 50 Hz ±3%, and
sufficient isolation shall be provided from the loads.
• The electronic circuits used in the system shall be of solid state fail-safe design and be provided with
proper coating to have resistance to humidity and corrosion which prevents the operation from being
impaired by dust and dirt.
• The cameras shall be tamper-proof and shall alarm during tampering, and shall log the event to the main
database and shall be plug in type with suitable locking devices.
• The bidders who wish to supply cameras apart from the recommended make shall produce the
test/qualification certifications of the cameras. Bidding without certificates or producing fake certificates
may lead to disqualify the bidder.
• The Video Management software shall be user friendly and menu driven with self-checking i.e. all the
routines shall be checked periodically for their proper functioning and integrity.
• Diagnostic checks shall be done by the system periodically for the proper functioning of the Video
cameras.
• The configuration modifications can be done only from the control room.
• The system shall have flexibility for upgrading and expansion in all respects depending on future
requirements.
• The supplier may quote for additional items if required for completion of the system under the heading as
optional items.
• All the software manuals, hardware manuals, user manuals, training manuals related to the system shall
be supplied in hard copy format [ two sets] and 2 nos. in CD format
• The system shall confirm highest standards of the engineering design and work man ship. The system
shall perform well without much degradation for the service life of 20 years.
• Training: The supplier shall provide training at KAPS premises for personnel of user department and
security personnel on the operation, maintenance of 1. Cameras 2. Configuration of the system 3. Video
Monitoring system software for 2 technical persons and 5 security personnel. Training manuals [5 copies]
towards this shall be prepared and handed over to the purchaser before starting of the training.

Fiber cable
• The 12-port wall mount METALLIC enclosure should provide termination space for
backbone cabling and fiber to the desk installations. The front door offers protection
for the terminated optical fiber. For additional security an optional lock should be
available. Integrated fiber management rings should meet current industry standard
specifications.
• Wall mounted optical Metallic enclosures shall support up to 12 ports. The
enclosures shall be minimum 8.37"H X 4.1"D X 15.13"W in size.
• Each enclosure shall provide two separate, lockable compartments for cabling and
patch cords.
• Should be supplied with Blank snap-in adapter plate, Fiber Single mode LC snap-in
adapter plate Single mode SC snap-in adapter plate.
All connector like RJ-45, LC connector patch cord etc required to complete the system is in
supplier’s scope.
The purchaser or his authorized representative shall have access to the supplier's premises at all
reasonable times to the extent necessary to assess compliance with the provisions of this specification.
All the constituent units of IP based CCTV system equipment supplied to the provisions of this
specification shall be subjected to visual, dimensional and functional inspection and testing to the
satisfaction of the purchaser. Where functional and operating tests are performed, the equipment shall
comply with all the provisions of this specification at the conclusion of such tests. To this effect written
procedures describing the stepwise inspection and testing procedures in-detail shall be submitted to the
purchaser for approval, prior to the commencement of such tests.
After acceptance at the factory all the equipment shall be packed and transported to the site. After
delivery all the tests for hardware and software shall be repeated at the site. After the acceptance of the site
test report, installation and commissioning shall be carried out.
Extensive testing of installed system at site for a period not less than 2 months under real plant
conditions shall be carried out to remove any hardware/software bugs
23. Commissioning
After successful completion of the semi-industrial run as per technical requirement and to the
satisfaction of purchaser, the equipment will be considered as commissioned. After it is commissioned, the
system shall be handed over to the purchaser. The supplier shall prepare a commissioning document
containing all the tests and other details. Commissioning shall be competed with 6 months from the date of
purchase order.
24. Guarantee
The equipment supplied shall be guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning
25. Documentation
The supplier shall provide complete details of wiring, cable routing and all necessary documents after
installation as directed by purchaser.
All the cables are to be tagged as per drawing or as guided by engineer in charge with metallic tag. All
the termination of cables shall have necessary markers /ferrules and terminated through metallic ferrules by
crimping only (Industrial type).
