How will your life be in the absence of electricity?  In the absence of gadgets and
the internet?

Living with no electricity might not be easy and also, the absence of gadgets and
internet as a student nowadays when the covid happen in our country. Due to the fact
that the electricity now, days are so important for our everyday doing like to in our
laundry, heat our food before we go to our work and school, charge our gadgets like
cellphone, earbuds and more. Try to look around everything and everywhere are runs
on with electricity. The fan that we use, which gives us air, the speakers from which you
hear music.

Our lives are so dependent on electricity cuts seems like a never-ending of using.
We need electricity for almost all our work and our online class nowadays and also with
no gadgets like laptop, PC, cellphone and iPad, and no internet it’s so difficult to use a
student due to the fact, that nowadays the electricity, gadgets, and internet are so very
important for the student like me and even though for those people do their job at home
for short work from home. Due to the fact, that since covid happen to our country the
government announced that the private school, semi-private school, public school, and
university school are not allowed to operate face to face class.

So that, the online class happened when the covid 19 spread to our country.
Then the online class was needed to used gadgets like laptop, cellphone and
computers and internet and most important is electricity to supply power to our
computer, WIFI modem and more. How can you send your assignment, activities, video
and communicate with your teacher, classmate and groupmates by doing your activity
without the internet, we both know that there is an alternative of the internet that is data
but most compatible to use is internet due to the fact that internet is faster to send than
the data.

Moreover, after typhoon Odette happen here at Cebu way back on December 16,
2021, many electric power poles were knocked down at the time of typhoon. After the
typhoon was already passing in Cebu there are lots of barangays are no electric power,
signal, and internet but there is a signal of the globe network that is hard to find. If we
imagine it again after the typhoon Odette happen here in Cebu, it is very hard to
communicate with your loved ones, friend, and teacher because of losing electricity,
signal, internet, and data. And some of the other schools or universities at the month of
December they’re not still finished of their 1st-semester class.

In conclusion, by the absence of electricity, gadgets, and the internet is hard to

as, us a student due to the fact that nowadays the learning is no longer the same before
we go to school to learn but now, we learn by using gadgets and internet for the online
class. So that is the reason why electricity, gadgets, and the internet is important
nowadays either our parents, sister, or brother are working from home they also used
the gadgets and internet. If we don’t have electricity, gadgets, and the internet how we
can send our activities, assignments, video and how we can join the online class without
the internet.
