GUIDELINES

Booth
1) Name of the business should not be foul/double meaning to keep the integrity of the event.

2) The registration fee includes the following:

1 – Tent
1 – Table
2 – Chairs

Note: If you wish to add tables, you have to bring your own

3) Bring your own extension wires for your electrical appliances (blender, mixer, etc.)

4) Butane gas stoves are the only required cooking appliance, If you need to use charcoal grill
kindly inform your TLE/ICT teacher ahead of time for approval.
(Electric grill & stove not strictly prohibited)

5) Designs of booths should be relevant to the theme of the country.

Required size for the following:

 Logo & Signage (A3 (29.7 x 42.0cm) size with stand/attached to the booth)
 Menu – A4
 Flyers – A4
Passport and Boarding Pass

1) Each student will avail the Passport and Boarding Pass for 3Dhs. For visitors this will be sold at
6Dhs. Teachers and staff are also required to have both to enter and participate in the said
event.
2) This passport and boarding pass will be their ticket to enter the venue of the Market Day.
3) For every 5 AED in single-purchase, a costumer is entitled to one (1) stamp on the passport.
a. For every TWO (2) stamps, a costumer can claim a MINOR PRIZE.
b. For every TEN (10) stamps, a costumer can redeem a MAJOR PRIZE.
c. For every FIFTHTEEN (15) stamps and above, a costumer can redeem a GRAND PRIZE

4) Upon claiming the reward, passport will be considered null/void.

5) A student can purchase new passport for one (1) dirham from the Passport Renewal Center
(PRC) and once again accumulate stamps and exchange if for a reward at the Redemption
Booth.

6) All booths are required to have their stamps.

Participants (Booths)

1) Safety & Sanitation


a. Table to be used should be covered in foil
b. Flammable materials should be kept away from the stove/cooking area
c. Use sharp objects with caution
d. Wearing appropriate & complete uniform in cooking is a must
e. Proper disposal of containers/bags is a must

2) Cooking area
a. Tables should be stable and have enough space for the staff to move without any hazard
b. Cloth should not be used as a cover for the table near the stove to prevent fire hazard
c. Use and refill the butane properly, if not sure of the operating procedures ASK
ASSISSTANCE FROM THE TEACHER AROUND
d. Always CLAYGO (Clean as You Go)

3) KG 1 – Grade 6 will have one (1) table each to form their own bazaar which will focus on selling
NOVELTY ITEMS, SOUVENIRS, TOYS, ACCESSORIES and CANDIES/SWEETS
