At the end of 60 minutes session, the students will be able to:


 Define the degree of adjectives: positive, comparative and
superlative;

 Identify the different types of the degrees of adjectives,
 Use the degree of adjectives in making comparison.

A. Content Standard The learners demonstrate understanding of grammatical
structures of English to be able to communicate effectively in oral
and written forms.
B. Performance Standard The learners show proficiency in constructing grammatically
correct sentences in varied theme-based oral and written
activities.
C. Learning Competency Use the degrees of adjectives in making comparisons (positive,
comparative, superlative) EN3G-IVi-j5.2

III. INSTRUCTIONAL
PROCEDURE
A. Preliminaries

1. Prayer Students are assigned alphabetically to lead the prayer.

2. Classroom Present the classroom rules through the use of PowerPoint.


Management Instruct the students to read the classroom rules. Remind them
to observe/apply the rules during the whole duration of the class.

Classroom Rules:
1. Come to school on time.
2. Listen to the teacher.
3. Be kind to others.
4. Use manners.
5. Do your best.

3. Checking of The teacher will call their name alphabetically.


Attendance
The teacher will remind the students if they will be absent to
secure an excuse letter stating the reason of such absence.

4. Collecting of The teacher will collect the assignment by row before the
Assignment discussion.
