TEMPORARY FACILITIES
Temporary facilities to be erected and maintained at the job site.
EXCAVATION
STRUCTURAL EXCAVATION. To indicate bearing values. Exterior of excavations shall be determined
by the Civil Works Engineer. No footing shall rest on fill.
BACK FILLING
FILLING AND BACKFILLING. As directed by the Engineer, Test for compaction shall be approved by
the Engineer.
GRADING. To lines, grades and elevations as shown or indicated by the Engineer.
BACKFILL. Backfill shall not be placed to cover foundations structures until they have been inspected.
SOIL TREATMENT
MANUFACTURER. Aldrex Emulsive Concentrate by Shell or its approved equivalent.
MIXTURE. For subsequent dilution with water.
AREA OF APPLICATION.
a) All slab- on- grade construction.
b) Foundation walls
c) Crawl spaces-inside foundation walls, both sides of interior partition, walls around
plumbing, rodding and utility conduits.

ROUGH CARPENTRY
MATERIAL (PLYWOOD)
a) Grade AB for interior application where both sides shall be view wide requiring no
appearance surface, opposite side solid and smooth. For cabinet door and shelves.
b) Grade BD for interior use where one smooth side is required for backing and ceiling.
ROUGH HARDWARE
a) Provide all items of rough hardware necessary for the installation of

FINISH HARDWARE
The following hardware are application for doors with light to standard weight door with height of 1.80 to
2.10 meters.
a) Butt hinges
3 ½” x 3 ½” x 0.130” full mortise standard weight ball bearing hinges with brass
base metal in stainless steel finish, For PVC doors.

PLASTERING
CEMENT PLASTER.
a) BASE COAT PROPORTION, Mix scratch coat in the proportion of one part by volume
of cement to not less than 20 ½ nor more than by 4 parts by volume of damp loose sand.
Mix brown coat in the proportion of one part by volume of cement to not less than 3 nor
more than parts by volume of damp loose sand.
b) FINISH COAT PROPORTION, Mix finish coat in proportion of one part by volume of
cement to not less than 2 ½ not more than three parts by volume of damp loose sand.
CONCRETE FINISHES

PAINTING
MATERIALS. Well coat, Boysen, or other brands as approved by the Owner.
FILM THICKNESS. As recommended by paint manufacturer for type of paint and finish specified.
