PROJECT: PROPOSED COMPLETION OF STAGE AT BH COMPOUND

SUBJECT: SPECIFICATIONS

SCOPE OF WORKS:

General Condition:

The works included in this project comprise the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment and other
facilities and the satisfactory performance of all work necessary to complete this project as shown on plans and
detail drawings. All items of work specified herein but not included in the bid schedule shall be omitted as if not
shown in this specification. Also, the latter shall prevail, in case items of work are not shown in the specifications
but included in the bid schedule. Materials not subjected to quality tests should be certified PS-Mark by DTI.

Items of Works:

I. SCAFFOLDINGS

Description
This item shall consist of fabrication and installation of forms and furnishing of labor if specified,
for the necessary completion of this work.

Material Requirements

- Use Coco lumber of seasoned type for scaffolds.

- 10.0mm thick x 1.20m x2.40m Ordinary Plywood.

II PLASTERING WORKS (SMOOTH)

Description
This item shall consist of all materials and plastering of concrete hollow blocks 16mm thick
on both sides of exterior and interior walls.

Material Requirements

- Use HOLCIM Portland cement for smooth plain cement plastered finish.

III. STEEL WORKS

Description

This item shall consist of fabrication and installation of steel truss, cee-purlins, fascia frame as to type,
size and shape as shown on plans and detail drawing. Use A36 structural steel (FY=248Mpa)

Material Requirements
RAILINGS/ FASCIA FRAME

- Unless otherwise shown on plans and detail drawings, use:

- Use 50mmØ G.I. Pipe Sch. 40 handrail.

- Use 16mm square bar.

- Use 10mm x 0.10m 0.10m MS Plate.

- Use 10mmØ expansion bolt.

- Use 4mm x 25mm Angle Bar Fascia frame.

- Use 4mm x 25mm Flat Bar Fascia frame.

- All connections must be fully welded.

IV. CARPENTRY WORKS (CEILING)

Description

- This item shall consist of installation of light metal frame assembly, hanger and fiber cement board.
The materials shall be seasoned, free from loose or unsowed knots sap cracks, shake, another
imperfections, impairing their strength, durability and or appearance.

Material Requirements

- Use 4.5mm thick x 1.20m x2.40m fiber cement ceiling board.

- Use 0.40mm x 19mm x 50mm x 5m metal furring.

- Use 0.80mm x 12mm x 38mm x 5m Carrying Channel.

- Use 0.40mm x 25mm x 25mm x 3m Wall angle.

- Use 4mm x 25mm x 25mm angle bar hanger.

- Use 0.607mm thk. W-Clip back to back.

- Use Blind rivets as fasteners.

- See plans and drawings.

V. PAINTING WORKS

Description
This item shall consist of furnishing all paint materials, labor, tools, Equipment and plant required in
undertaking the proper application of painting indicated on the plans and in accordance with this specification.

Material Requirements

Metal or Steel

Concrete:

Clean the surface thoroughly, it must be free from dirt, grease and oil that can damage the
adhesion of newly applied paint.

Apply Concrete Neutralizer

Apply one coat of Acrytex primer

Apply one coat of Acrytex cast

Sand until smooth and surface is even

The surface shall be clean before applying polituff body filler for uneven surfaces

Apply 2-coats Acrytex semi-gloss final coating

(Consult end user for paint colour).
 Steel:

Clean the surface thoroughly, it must be free from dirt, grease and oil that can damage the
adhesion of newly applied paint.

Apply 1-coats Epoxy enamel

Sand until smooth and surface is even

Apply 2-coats Epoxy primer for top coat

(Consult end user for paint colour).
