Invitation Letter to Be a Judge

Respected Sir,
I’m writing to invite you to serve as a judge at the most advanced, innovative initiatives of
IMechE Pakistan Group; the UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) Challenge Pakistan 2022. The
event will hosted by IMechE at the NUST H-12 campus (date), whose mission is to inspire
young engineers and instill in them the necessary skills to develop professional engineering
capabilities.
This first event is focused on use of UAS in the agricultural. Current technological trends show
that Unmanned Aerial Systems hold a promising future in Pakistan in various fields. It is
regarded as an important technological intervention for commercial efficiency. Many
organizations have started deployment. R&D work is also being undertaken for industrial
and commercial use at various universities and by start-ups.
The programme is based on real-life problems; focus is towards applications of UAS to
enhance efficiency of various agricultural and industrial tasks; please refer Annex 1 for more
information about the event.
26 teams will be participating in the event from Universities across Pakistan.
If you’re at all interested in joining us, I’d be happy to send you more detailed information
about the event and the role of a judge, or to speak with you to answer any questions you
may have. I have a feeling that this event will leave a lasting impression on you. It will also
encourage the participants and us from the vast experience and knowledge you would bring
as a judge to this competition. .
