Event Plan:

• You guys will each be assigned ONE judge. Their contact information will be shared soon. You
will look them up on LinkedIn etc. Remember how they look.
• Arrive at CIPS 8:30AM SHARPP
• After the briefing, you will call your judge around 9:30AM and ask when they will be arriving
• When the judge arrives, you will receive them from the parking and take them to the seminar
hall. I DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOUR JUDGE UNATTENDED.
• Take them to their seat in the seminar hall and leave them there.
• Help in sending the teams inside
• Your judge is supposed to evaluate 5/6 teams. You have to visit their stalls and remember k ap k
judge ki teams kaha hain.
• Once the seminar ends, go to your judge and take them to the first team.
• Tell the team in front of the judge “You guys have 8-10 mins for the presentation after which
there will be a 5min QnA”. They know this already but you MUST say it each time.
• Start a stopwatch on your phone and place it on the table. It is your job to MAKE SURE that the
presentation ends on time.
• While the presentation is going on, go visit your next team and see if they’re free. Tell them
you’re bringing the judge here next.
• Take the judge to all teams and make sure sab time par ho
• Around 1, I will text you guys k judges ko faculty lounge le jao for refreshments

Rubrics:
• In the morning, you will collect marking rubrics(one for each team) from Ayesha Saeed (Dir.
Proto). You will also return them to her
• It is basically a paper on which the judges will score the teams out of 10. MAKE SURE you write
the PROJECT TITLE and PROJECT ID on each teams rubric BEFORE the judge marks them.

Possible Issues and How to tackle them:

• All your teams will be under one domain. Each domain has domain manager (Ahmed Hanzala,
laiba Younis, Laiba Zari or Muhammad Ahmed).
• Make sure you have the contact of the domain manager for your teams. You will contact your
domain manager for any query.
• Teams can get restless and ask questions about when they will be evaluated. You have to calm
them down. Make sure Judges ko koi ghussa na aae.
• Judges will take longer than the allotted time. Respectfully remind them k there are other teams
to be evaluated
• Make sure you know where to get water for yourself and the judges.
• If some judge is absent, their teams can get assigned to your judge. You will be informed. Keep
your phones close.
• Make sure you know washrooms kaha hain male and female
• Wear comfy shoes. All black. Formal. Stay hydrated. In case of any queries, FREELY ask in the
Ushers group.
