Reflection Paper about Drug Education and Prevention Seminar

Illegal drugs are a big problem in the Philippines today. Information about it can be herein,
most in news platforms, not onetime but numerous times. So what about it? The case with
that? Well, to explain it, drugs aren't often wrong. There's just this illegal drug that wants to be
taken by some individuals without knowing its outcomes. Define prohibited drugs having legal
limitations and are not allowed to use them because of their terrible effects on our health. And
also, take note that the excessive use of all drugs will lead you to overdose, and that can harm
you. So, regarding this issue, drug education and prevention are essential in the living
individual. For we will understand what and for whom every drug is. We also must know what
drugs do to our bodies and, of course, to our health.

According to the documentary shown, some people easily tempted. Even those young
people have tried to use illegal drugs. Well, lot of us will say that temptations are difficult to
resist. Often, curiosity may carry us to this situation but come on. We should know the pros
and cons of dealing with this decision, sometimes people use it because they’d influence by
peers, and some believe they will look cool which is not. And some because they’re depressed
and want to forget things. To tell you truthfully, this isn’t the solution to your difficulties, maybe
it will give you instant aid for it but, it will just cause you a burden. People who abuse using
drugs may get addicted to them without even recognizing it. And the constant consumption of
it will lead you to overdose which can lead to your death. It can also cause you hallucinate,
experience seemingly real perceptions of something not present, and do things you wouldn’t
otherwise do. Drug education and prevention seminars will give awareness and can help us
with this matter. It can provide appropriate learning about drugs and other related kinds of stuff
for the people. We will know when we should use this kind of drug and what its effects for our
health. By providing drug education, individuals will also learn how to make healthy and safe
choices, determinate risky situations, and develop strategies to prepare them for challenging
situations.

Drugs are inadequate unless it is a medicine and used with a correct prescription. If you
are taking illegal drugs, you are probably, not to control yourself and may do what you don’t
do. Overall, drug education or prevention giving awareness is necessary. Without this, people
who are vulnerable in mind will resume being influenced by their curiosity about drugs or by
other people. They will use drugs without knowing the transient effects they can give them and
without knowing the long-lasting harm they may bring. And stop this curiosity, and don’t ever
try to take illegal drugs.
