Designed and built by ED&D to carry and rotate the specimens when determining the IEC
60529 Standard / IP Code level protection against water ingress, at specific rotation speeds
(adjustable to 10rpm). We have standard sizes we try to keep in stock. We also have high-
capacity units available; see the table below.
Our industry exclusive full-sized turntables are designed for testing larger products, to carry out the Drip Box
turntable requirement of IPX1 and IPX2 - - or for convenience when performing the Oscillating spray or Spray
Nozzle (IPX3 and IPX4) and/or Jet Nozzle tests (IPX5 and IPX6) within the IP Code (IEC 60529), which
requires the specific rotation rate of the DUT - - in order so that all sides of the product are equally tested.
(Note: Exclusive ED&D Mini-turntable ET1-02 is available for smaller product Drip Box testing - - ask for the separate brochure).

Standard Outfit:
1 rotating tabletop, circular, pivoted on a turning rim
1 frame with additional gear reduction to 1+ 0.1 rpm, with 4 caster wheels, 2 of
them lockable.
1 Calibrated, digital rpm meter for adjusting the speed (0.5rpm – 10.0rpm)
