• Những Động từ đặc biệt + Tính từ theo sau:

Look, become, taste, appear, seem, … + Tính từ

Ex: Mike looked angry.


The medicine tasted awful.
The man appeared drunk.

• Tính từ đặc biệt có đuôi -ly:

elderly, likely, lonely, silly, ugly

Ex: Mary was very friendly.


It was a lively party.
We had a lovely time.

• Tính từ + đuôi -ly = Trạng từ
