    This activity will provide you with more understanding of the job you wish to apply
    for in the future by looking into the qualities, skills and values deemed necessary in the job.
    Below is a table for you to fill in. Out of the many jobs you wish to apply for, single out one
    from the list and think about the skills that are considered relevant to the job. Briefly justify as to
    why you think the skill is of great advantage to the job and how it is going to bring noteworthy
    value to your qualifications.

    RELEVANT SKILLS JUSTIFICATION


    To be a contractor you need to be good at
    SOFT SKILL NO. 1: communicating with other people. To have good
    Communication skills connections with people.

    You just don’t need to be good at the field, but


    SOFT SKILL NO. 2: you also need to be good at the office as well. For
    Office skills example, in encoding, you need to have basic
    knowledge on how to encode so that if
    emergency happens you know what to do.
    To have a good team it also needs a good leader
    SOFT SKILL NO. 3: and it start with you. Be a role model to other and
    Leadership skills others will follow you.

    To be a good contractor you don’t need to sit


    HARD SKILL NO. 1: and just watch but it is also important to know
    field skills how to do the actual work

    In the field there will be times that the drivers are


    HARD SKILL NO. 2: not available, so you need to have certain skills to
    Driving skills drive certain vehicles that are needed for the job.

    To be an engineer is difficult in its on way. So


    HARD SKILL NO. 3: treasure it and lived to it and fulfill your duties as
    Engineering an engineer.
