 "Every diamond-soul has its own unique personality, its own chain, its strengths (carats),
clarity, color, and cut—and it must be treated in kind, befitting its individuality." Similar
to diamonds, every man has unique greatness on his own. A man's worth weighs on their
dignity and responsibility. A diamond's value can be measured by its carat. Both values
are not easy to determine just by looking at them. There are chances wherein the shiniest
diamond attracts the most. However, it is not as valuable as the other diamonds. Same
with men, people tend to look at the outer appearance of a person and base their respect
on the appearance in which stigma is present. They tend to mistreat other people based on
looks and not their personality, intelligence, dignity, and spirituality. They are
empowered by the beauty and see less of what the other person is truly capable of.
 “Every phenomenon in life is our teacher, the Baal Shem Tov tells us. So, what can we
learn from a diamond?” In a person’s life, challenges are the key to development. The
processes shown in order for a diamond to be worthy and to shine can be compared to the
growth of a man. There are certain manner on how we can be valuable to ourselves and
other people as well. For us to attain that goal we must undergo self- empowerment that
connects with self-awareness. A person can, however, draw inspiration from anyone who
exemplifies the qualities they aspire to have which then provides greater value. Just like
in a diamond we can shine.
 Individuals become unique based on talents, capabilities, hobbies, strengths, and
weaknesses. That individuality should contain confidence in order to strengthen the
quality and shine amongst the crowd like a piece of a diamond. “Every diamond-soul has
its own unique personality.”
 Life teaches us to trust the process and be patient. In order to take on our final shape, we,
like a diamond, must go through a difficult process involving our immediate
surroundings. Throughout this process, we also compete with our internal selves, which
polishes develops us. “When you’re counting diamonds, you don’t get tired.”
 “The naked eye is unable to discern the diamond’s worth” It teaches us that we can
always look at anything through the lens of money and turn a blind eye to it. Spirituality
is more important than material possessions that reflect us and our virtues in life. Seeing
our true selves allows people to see our true worth and the part of us that makes a
difference in the world.
