Functional Responsibilities:
● Assisting physicians in diagnosing illnesses and selecting treatments.
● Taking blood samples from patients for analysis.
● Isolate and make cultures of bacteria or other microorganisms in prescribed media, controlling
moisture, aeration, temperature, and nutrition.
● Examine physiological, morphological, and cultural characteristics, using microscope, to identify and classify
microorganisms in staff, water, and food specimens.
● Provide laboratory services for health departments, for physicians needing information for diagnosis and
treatment.
● ensuring that data is recorded accurately in accordance with hospital guidelines.
● observing high health and safety standards.
Functional Responsibilities:
● Manage complaints in accordance with the practice complaints policy.
● Liaise with complainants in a sensitive and appreciative manner.
● Inform the appropriate Director of any complaint .
● Setting up and maintaining office administration systems, processes and files (both manual and electronic) to
ensure that relevant information on complaints is kept up to date, accurate, meets corporate deadlines and is
accessible to all relevant team members.
● Liaising with complainants, ensuring that they understand the complaints process and receive good
customer service from the organization and where this does not happen escalating issues to senior managers.
● Prepare and send acknowledgements to corporate complaints and queries received in a timely manner.
● Presents a summary of complaints to practice meetings .
