Result of Survey
The following are the results of the survey conducted by yours truly in Grade 6 – Aguinaldo of
Molino Elementary School:
Excluding myself, there are 19 male and 21 female respondents, a total of 40 respondents.
As of the time of this survey dated October 20, 2022, 26 students are 12 years old, 12 students
are 11 years old and 2 students are 10 years old.
When asked how much time do they spend in studying at home during weekdays:
a. 13 answered less than 30 minutes
b. 24 answered 1-2 hours
c. 3 answered 2-4 hours
d. 0 or no one answered more than 4 hours
e. 0 or no one answered that they do not study at all.
It can be concluded that majority is spending 1-2 hours in studying at home during weekdays.
d. I take down notes during lectures and discussions. - 20 answered ALWAYS, 10 answered
SOMETIMES, 8 answered SELDOM and 2 answered NEVER.
It can be concluded that majority always takes down notes during lectures and
discussions.
It can be concluded that majority always finishes homework and projects on time.
i. I study while watching TV, using cellphone or listening to music at home. - 5 answered
ALWAYS, 10 answered SOMETIMES, 19 answered SELDOM and 6 answered NEVER.
It can be concluded that majority seldom studies while watching TV, using cellphone or
listening to music at home.
It can be concluded that majority always reads many educational materials other than
books or modules provided to them.
When asked what is their opinion about how they are doing in class:
a. 6 answered EXCELLENT
b. 14 answered ABOVE AVERAGE
c. 19 answered AVERAGE
d. 1 answered BELOW AVERAGE.
It can be concluded that majority of the students thinks that they are doing average in class.
When asked if they think a good study habit can affect their performance in school, 40 or all
answered YES.
It can be concluded that all students think that a good study habit can affect their performance
in school.
When asked if they would study harder to get better grades, 40 or all answered YES.
It can be concluded that all students would study harder to get better grades.
