PROYECT NAME: THE BOY IN
THE STRIPPED PYJAMAS ESSAY.
The story begins showing a boy having fun with his friends in a quite nice city
where the danger did not matter to people as it was so welcoming and safe. Our
little protagonist is called "Bruno" who enjoys playing with his friends around the
city until that thanks to his father's promotion, they are all forced to move. Bruno
looks a bit sad about this decision, but he sees the positive side of his new house
with the intention of exploring it. In the process of this, he realizes that near there,
there was black smoke with a very bad smell, for which he asked his parents, who
only convinced him that it was a farm where they burned garbage. Some time later,
little Bruno found a passageway that led to the forest, to which he without question
went in search of further exploration. His mother, realizing this, quickly tried to
distract him so that he would not walk away, as the mother began to suspect some
things about the environment in which her children were. The soldiers who went to
the house were strange, they spoke with a very serious and aggressive dialect apart
from the fact that most of them came armed. Bruno realized that one of the house
helpers was wearing striped pajamas under his apron. Bruno was surprised to see
this gentleman act so strange, weak and with eyes of suffering. Days later, Bruno
manages to go out into that forest until he finds some bars and a place full of dirt,
full of men with the same striped pajamas and many wheelbarrows. Perplexed by
his life, he meets a boy wearing the same "pajamas". Bruno befriends this new
Jewish boy and discovers that these pajamas are not as such, but rather uniforms
and that their tattooed numbers are not part of a game. Bruno brings this child food
from time to time because the poor man barely ate well in that cell.

Bruno, spending days at home, realized that his sister was saying very strange
things about the Jews, claiming that they were bad. Bruno never let his sister or his
teacher influence him, because he thought his friend was a good Jew. The mother
realizes the enormous danger and bad environment in which the family is living and
begins to argue daily with her husband about moving. Her husband accepts and the
two children are forced to leave the house, so Bruno immediately went to give his
friend the bad news. His friend tells him that he feels very sad and only because
they can't find his father, to which Bruno offers to go looking for him along with
him. Both children agreed to see each other in the morning and managed to change
and put Bruno in. The mother realizes that Bruno is not here and begins to search
the entire house and patio, not knowing that her son was nearing his end, because
the soldier inside the jail sent everyone into the security chamber. Gas to which
Bruno and his friend entered thinking that his father could be there. They took off
their clothes and went inside with the other men, full of fear. Bruno's mother runs
until she gets outside the cell where she sees her son's clothes, knowing that they
were on fire inside. He falls to his knees when he learns that his son is dead and
Bruno and his friend died with their hands intertwined, carried away by innocence.
