Dear sir,
We are grateful for your enquiry asking for our air conditioner and are
pleased to enclose our offer No.1231 together with our latest catalogue. In
addition, we would like to draw your attention to the following points:
The specifications are as per samples No A.123 As illustrated in the
enclosed catalogue, each contains 1 sample.
The price is fixed at 400$ per unit, CIF Hai Phong port including packing,
valid within 2 months. We are also willing to give you a 5% discount for
orders of 300 units or more. We have no difficulty in meeting delivery
times.
We are able to make delivery within two months from receipt of your
official order if the quantity is less than 100 units. For larger quantities, the
delivery time may take longer.
Payment is to be made in USD, by irrevocable letter of credit on a sight
draft basis, to be opened at Vietcombank in Hanoi, 20 days before the
shipment, to the account of the seller at MUFG Bank, Tokyo branch, in
favour of the seller for the total value of the goods to be shipped.

Dear Mr Son,
We thank you for your offer No.1231 of 23 February for air conditioner
and are pleased to enclose our order No.PO/35 for 100 air conditioners,
code A.123 as per catalog and price list enclosed with your offer. We
would like to draw your attention to the following points:

If any of the ordered goods are not available in stock for delivery at the
time stated in the
order, please do not send substitutes for them.

We would like to confirm that payment is to be made in USD, by

irrevocable letter of credit on a sight draft basis, to be opened at
Vietcombank in Hanoi, 20 days before the shipment, to the account of the
seller at MUFG Bank, Tokyo branch, in favor of the seller for the total
value of the goods to be shipped.

The goods must be packed in usual export customary packing.

5) Complaint
Dear Sir,

We are writing to complain about the consignment of air-conditioners

model A.123 under the
import contract No.HD01/2011 signed on October, shipped on board the
SS Golden
Lotus which arrived at Haiphong port on 30 November 22.

On examination, it was found that the consignment was in short and

damaged condition.
We asked representatives from Vinacontrol in Haiphong to make a survey
report which indicates:

Out of 100 air-conditioners ordered and also stated in the packing list, only
95 were delivered, 5 were missing.

3 out of 95 cases containing air-conditioners were broken and the air-

conditioners were damaged beyond repair.

We enclose herewith the Survey report and other relevant documents to
support our complaint and must ask you to immediately send the
replacements for the broken and missing air-conditioners with all the
expenses to your account as we urgently need them to complete our sales
to our local customers. These items must be delivered before 7 December,
after that time we will reserve the right to refuse to take delivery of them
and you will have to pay a penalty which is double the value of the goods.
