Part I

PURPOSE
The purpose of this assignment is to develop learners’ ability to examine and analyse the
categories of the corporate culture at a workplace.

REQUIREMENT
Select a multi-national company that you are familiar with. Examine and analyse the
categories of the corporate culture at the company. Which categories mostly described
the practice of the company? Justify and support your answer with evidence from
appropriate literature reviews. Provide relevant examples.

Discuss the following topic(s) in the forum and submit proof of your participation in the
online discussions:

1. How does culture give an organisation a competitive advantage?


2. What are the differences between cultures within and beyond national borders?

KEPERLUAN
Pilih sebuah syarikat multi nasional yang anda biasa. Teliti dan analisis kategori-kategori budaya
korporat di syarikat tersebut. Kategori yang manakah paling banyak menjelaskan amalan syarikat
tersebut? Justifikasikan dan sokong jawapan anda dengan bukti dari sorotan kajian yang sesuai.
Berikan contoh-contoh yang relevan.
