Functions of Culture
Culture is an active agent of change. It functions visibly and invisibly in any
organization.
1. Create distinctions – this makes the organization create a unique character
2. Helps to create a sense of identity
3. Facilitates the generation of commitment
4. Enhances the social stability
5. Serves as a sense making and control mechanism
