EY’s Intelligent Automation and Artificial Intelligence consulting practice works with clients and help them transform their
business using Automation and Artificial/Machine Learning (AI/ML) technologies. The team focusses on bringing together
deep functional, process and domain/sector knowledge along with extensive experience in implementing leading cutting-
edge automation technologies to drive what we term as #TransformationRealized solutions.
The scope of services and coverage of this team spans across transforming client businesses, processes, operating models or
digital landscape by leveraging solutions such as standardization, elimination, optimization and the wider automation
technology spectrum – whether it is Robotic Process technology platforms such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath,
Pega, Resolve etc. or Microsoft Power Platforms or the latest in Chatbots (NLP/NLG) and Machine Learning (Python, R,
TensorFlow, etc.,) technologies and frameworks. The team has developed in-house AI platform known as ASpace
(https://www.ey.com/en_in/consulting/accelerating-digital-transformation-with-ai) that we use to ‘democratise’ AI adoption
and accelerate digital transformation with our clients.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in delivering client projects in the area of technology led transformation,
process transformation, improvement projects, service model transformation, GBS area etc. as a functional consultant or
business analyst and exposure to technology stack around automation (RPA, RDA, etc.), AI, ML, workflow, NLP/NLG
technologies etc. The candidate should be able to work as per the plan/schedule and defined requirements/scope, carry out
client interactions and be able to collaborate with peers, team members as may be required.
Skills and Capabilities (Detailed list of skills, capabilities & behaviours expected from candidate):
The candidate should be well versed/experienced in BASIC skills around project/client delivery that may include the
following:
Deliver automation/business transformation/process improvement projects individually or with limited guidance and
(preferably) lead small workstreams etc.
Participate in client meetings, carry out client interactions, requirement gatherings, workshops etc. and
develop/sustain good client engagement/relationship
Conduct automation/improvement/opportunity assessments, be able to understand process, sub-processes, activities
across functions and sectors, document the same, prepare process maps using tools such as Visio etc., understand and
relate to various KPIs and process SLAs
Develop financial models, business cases and prioritize improvement opportunities using relevant frameworks and
methodologies
Work within project constraints, ensure effective communication and be able to identify and communicate projects
risks and issues proactively
Contribute ideas for problem solving, help build better solutions by leveraging different project and functional
expertise, support firm initiatives as required

Prepare and maintain project documentation, proper archiving, and carrying out firm defined quality and compliance
processes
In addition to basic skills, the candidate should possess the following CAPABILITIES:
Certifications: -
2-7 years of total experience with at least 2 years in direct client serving
roles/consulting environment
Minimum Years of Experience:
Consulting background (preferably) or Industry background
(Business excellence/Internal Consultant) with significant exposure
to transformation or performance improvement projects.
