Sentencing Order Activity

Proposition: To which world shall viruses be given for custody – living or non-living?

A sentencing order is a document issued by a judge in the court about his decision on a specific
legal case. In this activity, act as a judge who will determine to whom between the living and the non-
living world shall viruses be given for custody. Cite facts to support your claim for your decision. The
following will be the format of the sentencing order.

1. A short introductory paragraph about the nature of the case (you can invent the scenario, who is
under prosecution and defense).
